Mental health counseling
Mental health counseling with Rosa Barroso, LMHC, accepts only Medicare and Self Pay for now. The other plans on this page apply to physical therapy.
Medicare and self pay
Medicare Part B helps pay for medically necessary outpatient physical therapy. After you meet the Part B deductible, you typically pay 20% coinsurance (20% of the Medicare-approved amount), and your doctor must certify that you need therapy. The deductible changes every year, so check the current figures on Medicare.gov. Medicare.gov: Physical therapy services.
- Medicare Advantage: for physical therapy we accept Aetna (HMO), AvMed, CarePlus, Devoted Health, Florida Complete Care, Preferred Care Partners, and Solis Health. Copays vary by plan; we verify your benefits before your first visit.
- Mental health: counseling with Rosa Barroso, LMHC, accepts Medicare and Self Pay.
- Self pay: if you don't have insurance or prefer not to use it, you can pay directly. Call (786) 613-7160 for a self-pay quote.
- We do not accept Medicaid.
